Hercules provides a total skip hire service for most commercial and
domestic building applications.
Please note, if you intend to site a skip on the public highway, you
must obtain a skip permit, prior to siting, from the local authority.
Lights and cones must also be displayed. Hercules can advise and arrange
for all of this.

Mini 2 yard skip
- For all types of general waste
- Ideal for domestic projects or restricted width access
- Not usually any weight restrictions
Midi 4 yard skip
- For all types of general waste / small works use
- Possible weight restrictions if using a smaller lorry to load
Maxi standard builders skip 6/7/8 yard skip
- Used extensively on building and construction sites
- Available with top-lid
10 yard skip
- Used for light waste only
12/14/16/18/20 yard skip
- Used extensively for commercial, exhibition, shop fitting waste
- Certain weight restrictions apply.
- Not to be used for bricks, concrete, soil or any other heavy materials
20 yard Roll-on Roll-off
- Can be used for bricks, rubble and concrete
- Needs a lot of space, including height to manoeuvre and unload
- Rental can often apply
25-40 yard Roll-on Roll-off
- Ideal for light waste
- Needs a lot of space, including height to manoeuvre and unload
- 35 yard and 40 yard can be provided with top-lid.
Drop Door
- This type of skip has a rear door allowing the operator to access
the skip by walking in with a wheelbarrow or heavy load
Low End
- As an alternative to the drop door this skip has a low rear allowing
access to the skip with a plank for use with a wheelbarrow
Important Note: Skips on the road
* If you intend to site a skip on the public highway you must obtain
